This truly disgusts and saddens me. I have lost respect for the actors because of it. The movie was the most beautiful adaptation of Romeo and Juliet ever made. Seems like they waited for Franco Zefferelli to die before bringing this ridiculous lawsuit. It was one scene, very tastefully done as stated below, nothing even remotely pornographic about it. They claim to have been ‘traumatized’ because of it. I watched interviews with both of them on YouTube filmed right after the movie and years later and nothing like this was even remotely mentioned. It’s there for all to watch. These allegations seem to cheapen the movie, which was perfect. Olivia Hussey rented Sharon Tate’s home on Cielo Drive after the Manson murders, I would think that might have been just a little more traumatizing. What was she thinking? It was the 60s and they were teenagers, the age of free love, drugs etc. This whole lawsuit is a hopeful money grabbing opportunity for them and their lawyers since neither of their careers really took off after Romeo and Juliet. (The lawsuit is for $500 million dollars!) They are probably low on cash in their 70s and grasping at straws. Hope the lawsuit goes nowhere. The movie will remain celluloid perfection. Shame on them!
