Thank you for putting Bullhead City area on your list of places that aren't desirable to live in. We moved here 9 years ago when I retired. When we left Alaska we were shooting for Henderson Nevada, but the internet information that we were going by had not been updated. Henderson is just a huge extension of Las Vegas and too much City for our liking in retirement. Since we were in our vintage motorhome with our dog and our parrot as traveling companions (which made for a very enjoyable month on the road visiting family through Canada) we just drove until we found some place we liked. The lights of Laughlin caught our attention as we came into the area at night. There was this small brightly lit area surrounded by pitch black everywhere else so we figured we could handle that. We ended up in Fort Mohave, Arizona and created our little image of paradise. People here are friendly and we've had wonderful neighbors so it felt an awful lot like the home we left behind. Send people here to visit & spend their tourist dollars, but then they can go away and stay away. It's growing too fast for my liking but it is our little Paradise for the rest of our lives.
