So I’m truly obsessed and fascinated by this man. What he did was absolutely disgusting and vile, but I can’t help but want to learn more about him. Unlike any other killer I’ve seen, he clearly knew how to be normal. And I think it’s what he wanted. He had a girlfriend and he was a father figure to her daughter. He had a job and he wanted to go to school to become a lawyer. But something was clearly wrong with him. Kind of like he was unsatisfied with his life. I read somewhere that serial killer’s victims reflect from some sort of past trauma. And I guarantee being lied about who his mother (who to him was a coward who did not own up to being a mother and just passed her son off to her parents) was took a huge part of who his victims were (young, bright girls who had their whole lives ahead of them). He was taking out all of his hate on other young women, believing they shouldn’t get to experience life because they don’t deserve it. His whole life was based around lies, and he simply tried to be someone he wasn’t. I think he took that sense of hate and betrayal onto other young women. Notice how he hides his face and tries to stray away from the topic of the murders. He knows he will act in an unfavorable way, so he tries to hide it. Even to his death, he wanted people to like him. Now I have some done stupid things in my life, things where I’m not sure why I did them, but I did them anyways. Of course it wasn’t to the extreme level of murder, but they were things that looking bad, I did not regret. I knew they were wrong, but a part of me still wanted to do it. Our worst enemies our ourselves, and Ted even said that humanity should be protected from itself. I’m not glorifying Bundy, nor and I sympathizing. But I am pitying him. Because he didn’t realize how good he had it, having a family and on the road to a good paying job. I am a human as well, and I have no right to judge anybody. When something goes wrong, I believe everybody is a victim, in some ways more than others. I hope all of the lives lost are now resting easy.
