as a trans man i find cross dressing soothing bc i was never able to do it comfortably when i looked like a girl but now that im recognized as a man and control the gendered aspects of my appearance i enjoy it way more and do find it soothing in a very non sexual way. i think crossdressing as a topic becomes much more complicated when trans people are brought into it, especially trans masc people. I like how that was brought up briefly. This whole discussion was so interesting, i love crossdressing being talked about as a normal thing instead of as a demonized fetish

Prstitution is everywhere in Thailand, not just in the Western Tourist areas. In fact the Prostitutes in the Tourist areas are at the top when it comes to their income. However, most prostitution occurs in Thailand with Thai male customers. The conditions for those women is terrible, but the media doesn't mention it. Also, most of the Prostitutes who are interviewed lie about what they do with their money. They don't send money back to their families, they buy expensive products and jewellry. I lived in Thailand for 28 years, and never once went to Pattaya. I always lived and worked in non touristy towns. In the past I would see the women as beinf sex objects, but aftr a few years, I saw that the Thai Prostitutes are savvy and manipulative and they were the ones doing the using. So, when I heard of Western men being ripped off, I would smile.
