I certainly would have thought that the Les Paul would have sold for much more than it did, especially considering all of the hype, it should have been in an auction that was instrument exclusive as you have mentioned, as the center piece, but someone must have dropped the ball 🎱, it is their loss, and a big win for whoever won the bid. It went for a lot less than either of the other two guitars, I would not be a bit surprised that it will be a lot more expensive next time it goes up for auction.
