I just started watching your vlogg this week and I was practically impressed in what you do in life, simple living in a van that loves nature. Halping

I met Salvador Dali at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art in the 1970's. He was involved in all sorts of New Age type art forms at the time such as holography and was trying to set up a demonstration in a corner of a large gallery there of a method he'd come up with for making two painting he did look like a single 3D painting. He had made two almost identical paintings from different angles and was using a binocular viewer he'd constructed to try to make them appear to merge into a single 3D scene. It was essentially an enlarged version of those hand held stereo viewers they used with double photograph cards during the Victorian era. He asked me to look through his viewer at the two paintings, which were about ten feet away, and tell him what I saw. I had to tell him that the images did not seem to merge and that did not please him. I recall telling him that moving the paintings closer to the viewer might help and when I Ieft he was in the process of trying to make that change. And, yes, he did have his weird signature curling end mustache at the time and must have been using a lot of wax to keep it that way!
