One thing that wasn't mentioned--but is a problem all over FL--is that mega-developments are sprouting up at an alarming rate. It isn't even a question of trying to keep ppl out--but current residents know all too well the flooding issues that exist statewide. When major developments (think small cities) spring up, the counties invariably give the developers whatever they want (think kickbacks). Developers then change swamp into residential communities. sounds great--EXCEPT that developers raise the elevation of the land by several feet, thus flooding out existing communities. In my neighborhood, which is low density and an older subdivision, the county is allowing a new development to raise the elevation 9-10 feet. Yes, they do that. Now whose house is going to flood? There's a second reason why high density development esp causes flooding: they pave over wetlands. So where will the water go? we need wetlands to absorb the high amounts of rain, esp with hurricanes. Developers also clear cut all trees--even though there are ordinances against that 😞 FL is basically a sandbox and can't sustain high-density development. There's a reason why The Villages area is also known as Sinkhole Alley: too many ppl using limited groundwater resources surrounded by sand leads to massive sinkholes.

It’s heartbreaking watching this! These thugs have no love or regard for human life. I feel prison is too good for someone who would do something like this. I don’t know what the two guys did prior to this moment but I do know it’s a vicious cycle that will continue because the bottom line is, lack of love for one another.
