Man I would love to hear the initial conversation on all of this, how it was presented, how it was received. I find relationships fascinating, the bob and weave, the give and take, it’s like a dance and not everyone does it well, I know I don’t. I’m glad Blue found his outlet, he had spoken before about feeling a since of free fall and trying to figure out where he was and what he wanted creatively and he seems really inspired with photography, I hope it blossoms into something truly fulfilling, perhaps even into getting his pieces into a showing or gallery. I worked on a film a friend did for a film school project and any ideas I had about love scenes or just scenes in general were shattered. It’s not an intimate interaction, emotions in the scene aren’t from the scene or derived from what’s happening in that moment, they are often pulled from a past experience or something that resonates with the feelings that are supposed to be real in that moment. There are people in your peripheral vision that don’t promote feelings of sexy time. You should always be thinking about being respectful of your scene partners space and discussing the actual mechanics of the scene before going in, it’s a lot. When Matt says the sex is the least of what’s going on in the scene, I believe him, no matter how hot the other actor is.
