I don't want to project my own feelings about my gender onto Jessie but I also want to talk about this because it feels important for anyone in the comments who might be in a similar situation; I'm a transmasculine person and I came out four years ago. My bigger chest had always been something that partners liked a lot, and when I came out one of the hardest people to come out to was my partner, not so much because of my chest specifically, but because of what my body and pronouns meant in regards to womanhood, what in regards to the feminine energy that my partners had placed onto me. Jessie's partner seems like a great person, and this is definitely not meant to be a call out, but when I she listens to Jessie talk about their body and how they don't like it, how they don't want to be feminine, how they dreamed of being a boy and how they even painted a penis onto the portrait, then replies with saying she wishes Jessie would embrace the feminine, talking about how much she loves that, it's tough to hear.
