I wonder why she's never had children? It's never mentioned or discussed. Unless either herself or Chris are unable to have children, perhaps her career just got in the way and by time she had a break from it, was too late. She was in her 50's and probably had menopause or it too risky to become pregnant at that age. Since she became a pop star rather late in life aged 34 that only left a 10 year window really for having children before menopause. During her music career she was pretty much non-stop with Blondie from around 1978-1979 until the band ended temporarily and her solo career started soon after in the 1980's and into the 1990's and then Blondie reunited and began touring again with the hit singles release Maria and Long Time. I wonder if she regrets not having children or perhaps she just preferred not to be a mother?
