The art style of this anime is absolutely immaculate. I got recommended to watch this anime more than 6 years ago i regret not watching it till now

So I have a quick question on this. Im a 6'5 guy (I dont know if that at all relevent) and when I was learning to do this properly I prectised on myself heaps first and then started to get it. But I cant do it consistantly on myself or my g/f, and if anything Im probably getting worse. Being tall and having big hands I can do it very easily with one hand, so thats what I do, plus its great to have a hand free obviously. Ive never even tried the two fist palm way actually. But the issue as I said is that I dont know exactly whats going on with blocking the artety, as in, I dont know exactly how to locate it or why I sometimes get it, and the next time I try I do the same thing and cant get it at all. Or suggestions, or like technique instructions. Im not into the power aspect of choking her personally, but I love it that my g/f enjoys it.. and she does. I need to improve is the problem.. and Im not. Also, interesting fact. When I very first learnt about it properly years ago, I was single.
