I lived in New York City in the late 70's and throughout the 80's and the Anvil was just one of my favorite clubs, along with the Works on the upper west side. The club scene and gay life in the city at that time was fabulous, the city was full of gay men and New York was for a lot of us , a magical place. Unfortunately, AIDS took away that magic, along with far too many lovers and friends. The city now is just a shell of what it once was, and all of those gay brothers who were taken away have been forgotten.

This is great :) I used to freak out about seeing negative comments about small boobs on the internet, but then I got rid of my confirmation bias and realized that there was negativity about big boobs and even medium boobs there too. Thin women are criticized, heavy women are criticized, in-between women are criticized, it's ridiculous. I wear a 32A and no one has ever made fun of me or said anything about it. It never occurred to me not to wear certain clothes or not to walk down the street like a hot b*tch. I had to force myself to ignore some of the guys who invited me out so I would actually have some time to study. And when a hot/wealthy guy is squeezing my boobs and telling me he loves them and asking me to describe how it feels when he bites them, I'm not really thinking about douchey words on a computer screen. I don't look down on girls who are insecure of their looks because most of us have been there. But personally, I base about half of my identity on being smart and half of it on being attractive, and my breast size does not preclude me from feeling that way.
