Sidenote- as a young girl I wondered why Tithing was included on the monthly Donations Receipt alongside random donations like the missionary fund, etc. Upon leaving the church, pondering the thousands of dollars they'd tricked me into paying them, I realized no amount of Donation Receipts (listing each and every tithing payment) would convince any court the tithing you paid was not a donation.
