Fantastic interview on a topic that is almost existential on how humanity wants to define ourselves, but so often is ignored and neglected. What I mean by that is, our we as humans ok with slavery (that's what human trafficking really is), rape, torture and child abuse? If not, then why are so few people trying to stop it? How are so many people allowed to profit from it? Including MasterCard and Visa. Today, so many of these activities could be shut down immediately by the banks and the SWIFT system. Look at how easily and quickly they've confiscated all of Russia's money internationally? Why hasn't this been done with human traffickers for example? What I fear is that everyone says these things are wrong, including governments, but in private they're actually quite ok with it as long as it doesn't personally affect them. As my dad used to say, It's time to shit or get off the pot.
