So true, kids are not born without judgement. If you just have all the sexualities and no one makes a big deal about it then, they will growing up thinking it's okay to be whatever you are. I am a Catholic person. I love God and I love the church but, I am a bisexual female. I am how God created me to be. My heart and my soul belong to Jesus and it was only though deep prayer that I discoverd I was bi. So to all the haters, all the people thinking kids are precious little unicorns that need to be protected from homosexuality think about this: When your child sees a homosexual couple that couple is displaying love. You want your kid to see examples of lover - seeing love is the only way that this world will ever stop having wars, hate crime, bigotry, sexism....and the list goes on. When you prevent your child from seeing the different kinds of love that exist you are limiting their knowledge of acceptance - the thing the the world needs MORE THAN ANYTHING right now. Instead of worrying about your child being exposed to gay characters on tv, look at the thins you are exposing them to: shooting video games, bad words, cartoons doing bad or gross things, violence on tv, people being unfaithful, archic ideas about woman and their place in society....once again the list goes on. It makes me think of what was done to the black slaves in the south. No one thinks that is okay now because we were taught it wrong and for the people that still believe in segrigation well, they keep their heads down for the most part because they know society won't allow them to get away with hate. It does not matter if your child has seen gay people in public, seen gay cartoons been to a gay parade or has same sex parents - they are going to be the sexuality they are. No matter what they are expose to sexuality is ingrained in their brain the same way we are born with our skin and hair color. You can cover it up as much as you want but, it is still there and even if that kid has never seen anything with gay characters or even heard the word gay, they are still going to get those pitter patters when they see someone they are attracted to no matter what you do.
