Fit has been associated with thin and yet that can be very deceiving. I have never been considered thin if anything a medium body build and yet in high school and later endeavors I was always amazed how I blew away others who would be considered thin when it came to sports needing strength and endurance. I would say that there is a fit level for everyone and that can look very different from person to person. Fit and healthy should be the goal not how thin you look. Here in the U.S. the goal seems to be thin as well and that can be a huge mistake.
