I can attest to the sudden feeling of defeat when a black is around me and the girl I'm with, my face gets red. In recent times (due to this lifestyle?) they'll come right up and talk to my girl in front of me, like i'm standing right there and they don't care. I always thought myself tough enough and capable but when it happens with an alpha black guy it's like the wind is taken out of me, feel deflated and just a primal fear. It's like their level of confidence and indifference to me tells me they don't see me as any kind of threat, then i start wondering if I even am and what i could even do about it, which instinct seems to be nervously laugh and play it cool. But this just encourages them further to be more stern with me and bolder to get what they want. The one time it occurred to me the black guy talking to us was no longer trying to get her number so much as subtly humiliate me in front of her and show himself as the alpha. Idk if some black guys get off on it later but he was visibly hard from it which made the situation and aftermath a million times worse, for me. For me, Shinji from Evangelion was a really important character. He embodied a lot of the parts of myself I hated, and seeing him repeatedly learn to love himself flaws-and-all was cathartic AF to see.
