Tyrannosaurus rex was a species of tyrannosaur that existed from around 68-66 million years ago during the late cretacious and possibly into the early paleocene (the exact estimate for when the tyrannosaurus rex fully went extinct is unknown). it was deemed the largest theropod dinosaur (in weight) and may have been 70% larger then initially stated, making it the largest terrestial carnivore as of this comment being posted. These creatures were plump and had pretty small arms for an animal of its size (their arms were more than capable of lifting around 400 pounds minimum, a stronger tyrannosaurus could possibly lift upwards of 900 pounds) and had fleshy lips covering their teeth not unlike those of squamates, they also had binocular vision which aided them in hunting their prey in which they possibly ambushed or maybe even chased into the water (tyrannosaurus was deemed as a powerful swimmer after research shown just how powerful their legs were). They delivered a bite of around 12000 psi which is just shy of an orca at 19000 psi, but their bite force couldve been severely more powerful, bite impressions on other dinosaurs show it did indeed hunt other dinosaurs rather than scavenge (a theory in which sir jack horner proclaimed) but would never pass up the opportunity too feast of a dead carcass, the animal was said to be alot more plump then initially thought back in the early 2000's and its hands were inward rather then outward (they possibly couldve moved them forward to a degree).
