i get the frustration and feeling like they're kinda disconnected, but despite the fact that some of y'all are seeing these issues in their relationship as futile, i think some of them are valid and real, like the topic of who's the woman and man of the relationship and how this affected Ian's mind in this sex scene bc of his pride for earning less money and being told he's the woman by his friend at work, but later on the episode having it worked out cos V called them out (and what she said can teach ppl that watch the show that might think the way the boys were thinking). money issues which is a thing between a lot of couples and also insecurities with commitment, we gotta admit that they don't pop out of nowhere, these are things that do exist sometimes specially in marriages and there's a way to work it out, which for what I can see is starting to happen from the end of this episode, the thing is, the writers take some issues to a petty level, they heat up things that aren't that big of a deal and make ian and mickey act very childish and that is what makes them feel off and out of character to us, but i bet they're gonna evolve before the season ends and the writers are gonna cut the exaggeration and despair for unnecessary drama, because to me that's the only issue.
