I suppose the thing that plants the mistrust is that lots of people saying size doesn't matter contradict themselves with their reasoning so I find it unsurprising. Firstly, they end up saying 'its girth that matters', therefore admitting that size does matter (and the whole think about nerves being more close to the entrance corroborates it). Secondly they say 'you can make up for it in other ways', therefore admitting it needs to be made up for. Thirdly, they say 'the average is smaller than you think', therefore not dismissing the scale, just making you think you are further up it, and that is assuming that average is enough (women can go for the single dominant male so it is perfectly plausible that only the best will do). Fourthly they say 'there is such a thing as too big', not that big is bad but only that it is possible (and probably only true for like the top 1%). Fifth, it is never really addressed how few microenis dildos there are but there are loads of huge ones - things that are made for pleasure. Sixth, there is a wealth of evidence that men with higher testosterone look, smell and move better (and this is heightened during ovulation) so it cannot be any surprise that the penis is part of it.
