Recently lost 55 pounds in 3 months myself, with zero exercise. Not because I am strong willed but because I had what the doctors believe was a minor stroke (no lasting symptoms so I was very lucky). Im 25 years old and Im 6 foot 2. The heaviest I’ve been is 340 (could have been heavier at some point but the highest I seen on a scale was 340). I am now 277 and already feel great, even though I still have a long way to go. I don’t even count calories, all I do is low sodium diet (1500mg daily max due to my hypertension) and low saturated fats. I eat air fried chicken and steamed vegetables every day, every meal. I eat fruit for snacks in between meals. I eat beef (minimum 90% lean) every now and then, maybe once or twice a month. I intend on getting a gym membership soon so I can exercise when not working. I no longer look at eating as a pleasure like I used to, I look at it solely as sustenance. My blood pressure has improved drastically since the weight loss and I feel the best I have ever felt. Used to think it was impossible but given the right motivators (stroke in my case) it can be done. Just gotta stick with it and know that the reward is worth sacrificing temporary comforts like eating junk. And know you will come out of it a better person and a better-feeling person.
